Journalist Anne Hailes will chair a panel that includes Eddie Lynch Commissioner for Older People NI, Alderman Sonia Copeland from Belfast City Council, Rita Murray Chair of the Greater Belfast Seniors’ Forum, and Anne Greenan Chair of the Belfast East Seniors Forum. Members of the public and older people are encouraged to join in and participate. The discussion is presented on “zoom” video call, and with a “telephone in” option too.
And to close the festival our evening entertainment includes an exclusive “zoom”/ telephone performance of the new show “The Broads”. This new play with songs about Judy Garland, Bette Midler, and Marilyn Munroe. “The Broads” has been created to reach people who are isolated, and this is its only online/ telephone performance.
